After the Storm: Seeds of Hope and Healing | A Virtual Fundraiser for Victims of Hurricane Helene
On September 26-28, 2024, Hurricane Helene ripped through parts of Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, and North Carolina.
While the media tends to cover such catastrophes and then move on, the people who experience them are living with the consequences for months and even years. Western North Carolina, particularly the city of Asheville, has been damaged in ways that have tragically affected their community.
Please join me on Tuesday, November 12, 4pmPT/7pmET, for After the Storm, a virtual fundraiser to support the hurricane victims of Asheville. I will be joined by several residents who'll testify not only to the trauma of Hurricane Helene, but also to the miracles that emerge as people support one another in its aftermath.
I hope our fundraiser will be one of those miracles. Registration is free, but I’ll be asking you throughout the evening to give generously to the non-profit organization chosen to distribute the funds.
