A projection microscope is a type of optical microscope that is used to project the magnified image of a specimen onto a screen or a digital camera. It consists of a light source, a condenser lens, an objective lens, and a projection lens.
The specimen is placed on a glass slide, which is placed on the stage of the microscope. The light source, provides a bright and uniform illumination of the specimen. The condenser lens collects and focuses the light onto the specimen to produce a sharp image.
The objective lens, which is mounted below the stage, magnifies the image of the specimen. The magnified image is then projected onto a screen or a digital camera by the projection lens, which is located above the stage.
