This is an example of a pony car (an affordable, compact, highly styled coupe with a sporty image). This particular generation was produced throughout the 1970's (1970-1981), so you wouldn't see cars any older than this looking quite like this. The standard engine was a 3.8L V6, but there's an option for a 6.6L V8 engine in a more expensive model.
