Here, comparison of Sine PWM and Space vector PWM has been discussed. It is used to drive 3 phase AC powered motor. There are variations of Sine PVM and SVPWM in the results are seen. One active area of development is in the reduction of total harmonic distortion (THD) created by the rapid switching inherent to these algorithms which is studied here.
