Here is a step-by-step process on how to do this:
• On your browser, visit www.paypal.com
• Then, sign in to your account with the correct login details.
• Once logged in, tap the Gear icon (Settings), which is at the top right of the page.
• Then, select the Payments option.
• Tap the Pre-approved Payments option.
• On the new page, you will see a list of merchants.
• Select the merchant for which you want to change the default payment method.
• Then, click the Change option.
• Select the new card to set as default and confirm your changes.
• Alternatively, on the homepage, click the Wallet option.
• Then, you will see all your linked cards and bank accounts.
• Tap the card you want to set as your default.
• Next, tap the ‘Set as preferred’ option.
• Lastly, save your changes.
