Nissan Elgrand e51 Parking Brake Replacement (Handbrake)
In this video, I replace parts on my Nissan Elgrand. The parking brake (handbrake) has stopped gripping, and so these repairs are essential for the safety of the vehicle.
With the MoT due this week I know the parking brake isn’t good enough, and in inspection it’s clear why.
The car is a gen 3 Nissan elgrand 3.5 highway star with 4wd. But I beleive all the e51 Elgrands have the same rear brake setup regardless of spec.
The goal is to stop the Elgrand from rolling back down my drive!
