The 2023 Civic Type R will get an improved version of the 2.0 liter 4-cylinder turbo - although Honda has not confirmed official horsepower and torque figures. Not only will this be the most powerful Honda Type R yet - it fixes all the issues that customers complained about on the outgoing generation.
The new 2023 Honda Civic Type R, based on the new Civic Hatchback, looks more grown up while still hanging on to its youth. You still have a giant wing on the back but other parts of the exterior design have been cleaned up to make it look more uniform.
