To begin, Create a new sequence or open an existing sequence. Most of this effect would be applied in the Lumetri Color tab and in the RGB curve section. so go to the windows tab and open your lumetri color panel. The first step is to create a trippy music video effect, so move down to the RGB curves and set some points to the red, green and blue color tables but completely ignore the white.
Now randomly move these points around the graph to create a trippy effect, you can continue to readjust this to you get a desired result. next add the noise effect and set amount to 20% to add some character to the effect and lastly add the invert effect, this effect will add the thermal effect to your video and bring up the warmness of the shot. so go over to the effects control panel and under channel, pick from the many options available. I prefer Rgb, quadrature chrominance, in phase chrominance or luminance.
