In this video tutorial I will show you how to loop a video clip in after effects.
Looping a video clip in After Effects is simple using Time Remapping and by extending the duration of the layer. Here's how you can loop a video clip in After Effects.
1.Import the Video Clip:
Import video clip into After Effects by dragging it into the project panel or using File - Import.
Drag the video clip onto your timeline.
2.Enable Time Remapping:
Select the video layer in the timeline.
Go to Layer - Time - Enable Time Remapping. This will add keyframes at the start and end of your clip.
3.Loop the Video:
Alt-click (Option-click on Mac) on the stopwatch icon next to the Time Remap property to open the expressions editor.
Enter the following expression:

loopOut("cycle")
This expression will create a seamless loop of your video clip.
4.Extend the Duration:
Drag the video layer to the end to extend it as long as you want continue to loop.
