(100% Fix) Spotify Error Auth 74 A Firewall May Be Blocking Spotify
Are you getting following error message on Spotify –
“A firewall may be blocking Spotify. Please update your firewall to allow Spotify. Additionally you could try changing the currently used proxy settings (Error code: auth: 74)”
Here are some fixes which you can try out to fix this error message:
1. Allow Spotify through “Allow an app or feature through Windows Defender Firewall”
2. Run Spotify app as an administrator
3. Disable the installed anti-virus software on your PC
4. Install Spotify client version from Microsoft Store
5. Use Notepad to configure the host file
6. Reset Spotify app
7. Clear cache of the Spotify app
8. Reset the network
9. Uninstall and re-install Spotify
