Printing with three different ink colors for Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month
We have been reminded, sometimes very hateful and also threatening, by many of our viewers that June is Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month. This usually comes up when we have posted about Pride Month.
We would like to remind everyone that the Sacramento History Museum is welcoming of all people and we will not shy away from highlighting national days, weeks, and months. Nevertheless, in this video, Jared letterpress printed “Happy Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month” in 72 point Caslon type. This was printed with yellow, red, and green ink using our Washington hand press, which was made in 1852. This video was recorded the same day as our Juneteenth video. How about for everyone’s mental health and wellbeing, we stop with the comments that spread hate.
