Marc Christian actually is the person who inspired producers Frank Konigsberg and Larry Sanitsky to bring Rock Hudson’s personal history to television, since Konigsberg first secured the rights to Christian’s Story at a meeting set up by mutual friends. Marc Christian was an informal technical consultant on the film and a frequent visitor to the set.
