Children of the Holocaust: Stories of Survival — Preview and Discussion
In honor of International Holocaust Remembrance Day on Friday, Jan. 27, Arizona Public Media previewed excerpts from its collection of local Holocaust survivor interviews, "Children of the Holocaust: Stories of Survival." Last fall, project producer Laura Markowitz sat down with 19 survivors from Southern Arizona to record their stories before they are lost to history. In this livestream recording, she discusses her experiences collecting these stories and screens excerpts from three, plus a behind-the-scenes look at the project.
