Howard prints a tiny rabbit for National Rabbit Week (week of June 24-28)
June 24th is the start of National Rabbit Week! Also known as Rabbit Awareness Week, this week brings awareness to what is considered a “forgotten pet,” the rabbit.
For today, Howard letterpress printed a small cut, less than one inch square, from the Stockton High School Print Shop Collection. The print depicts a rabbit’s head inside the letter “O.” The cut is likely of a logo from the 1950s, but this has some damage to it. This was printed with green rubber base ink using our Washington hand press, which was made in 1852.
