Happy New Year and welcome 2025 from the Sacramento History Museum! In honor of New Year’s Day today, Howard letterpress printed a large photo engraving of a newspaper cartoon that was published likely on New Year’s Day in 1968.
This cut is from the Brett from Pennsylvania Collection, a collection of 109 cuts that one of our followers gifted to us just over a year ago. The cut depicts the 1968 calendar. The print also includes Father Time and Baby New Year. This was printed with blue rubber base ink using a Washington hand press. We hope you have a safe and prosperous New Year!
