The NCBI Minute: Use EDirect to Parse BLAST XML
EDirect, NCBI's commandline access to the Entrez system, comes with the convenient Xtract XML parser that works with Entrez and BLAST XML output. This webinar introduces Xtract as a useful tool for processing NCBI BLAST XML output. Future NCBI Minutes will show additional ways to use the EDirect suite to enhance and customize standalone BLAST.
