How to draw a portrait as a part of learning how to draw the head, facial features, people, and the figure. This isn't so much an indepth tutorial like my other videos but more a drawing demonstration in which I show you how to draw a portrait using scribbles. Scribbling, unlike other various shading techniques like hatching, cross-hatching, and stippling creates a unique texture and a free, expressive and emotionally charged drawing that just makes you feel relaxed and charged at the same time.
Its fun and loose but requires some focus to keep the lines together. Give it a shot :-)
The pen tip sizes 005, 01 and 08 were the workhorses for this demonstration, then I used the chisel tip marker to embolden the contours and shadows and create a more pronounced contrast.
