When writing a prologue you want to give your readers a narrative that sets up the main story. Your prologue is supposed to provide just enough information that allows the reader to gain a little insight to what is to come.
The events that are written about in a prologue don’t have to be the main plot of the story but should be a part of it in some way and be mentioned at some point. So, in this video I will take you through all the dos and don'ts when it comes to writing your next prologue.
