Looking for your next video editing job? In this video I’m discussing the most common questions and answers I’ve come across in my interviews as a video editor!! When you’re a video editor, you can have all the skills and tools, but if you screw up the interview, you can say bye to that job!
As a video editor, interviews can go one of two ways. Either the client has no idea what video editing even is, and they're relying on your technical ability to help them get what they want, OR the client knows (almost) too much about video editing and may try to trip you up with their video editing knowledge. Either way, these interview questions and answers will help you prepare for whatever situation you might find yourself in!
Getting video editing work can be tough sometimes, and interviews definitely don’t make it any easier. It’s important to impress the client with your experience but also reel them in with your winning attitude. These prep questions and answers will help you get the job!!
