How to change Default Username and Password of Huawei ONU | What to do when you forget the password
Easy way to change the default login credential of Huawei ONU | Hash plain text password with md5 and then sha256 hashing algorithm
To convert password in hashed value:
Method 1: Use of Linux Machine
Open terminal and type
echo -n your-password | md5sum
Copy the md5 generated output and type
echo -n md5-generated-output | sha256sum
This will generate the password in required format.
Method 2: Use of Internet
Search for md5 and sha256 converter

If you forgot the password, Hard Reset the ONU pressing reset button at back of the router
