We hope this green print floats for National Canoe Day (June 26)
June 26th is National Canoe Day! It is a day to grab a paddle and go to the lake with a small narrow boat.
For today, Howard letterpress printed an electrotype (copy of a woodcut) of a woman traversing a body of water in a canoe. This cut was made in the 1930s and we hope this print floats for today. This was printed with green rubber base ink using our Washington hand press.
