Often, when selling self published books on the Amazon KDP platform, the only metric we use to determine how well our book is doing is by monitoring sales. Unfortunately, this doesn't tell us how well our book is doing in terms of ranking on Amazon and it doesn't allow us to fine tune our book listings with KDP keyword research to get better rankings and, ultimately, more sales. That is where keyword tracking software comes in, as it allows you to monitor where your book is ranking on Amazon for the individual keywords you are targeting. This allows you to monitor the effectiveness of your KDP keyword optimization and other changes such as changes to your book covers. It also allows you to monitor the effects of your book marketing campaigns and to determine the effectiveness of these campaigns as well as your sponsored listings. The aim of keyword tracking software is to get your book ranked, on Amazon, as highly as possible so that more customers see and you make more sales. This can help you make more money online from your self publishing business.
