Slipknot has played OzzFest several times, sold millions of albums, played to some of the biggest European Festival crowds on record, but until last week they had never won a Grammy.
The group captured the award for Best Metal Performance for the song "Before I Forget." The band was asked backstage where winning a Grammy ranks among their accomplishments, and Paul Grey said itâ  s up among the top.
The band added that the fans are really what matter to them, and that they wouldnâ  t be anything without the power of their following, dubbed "Maggots," behind them. Slipknot is taking a break, but fans can get the live experience with the two-disc set, 9.0: Live.
