Learn to create the iOS 7 Photos icon using Adobe Photoshop. While the icon isn't the most attractive, you should be able to pick up some nice tips and tricks from this tutorial.

Tools used in this tutorial:

Shape Tools: Several shapes were used in the making of this design, including the Rounded Rectangle. Within the Options Bar, you can set the fill and stroke (outline).

Layer Styles: If you're looking to add effects to your layers, you'll likely want to use Layer Styles. Whether it's an outer glow, a few shadows, or a bevel to give it depth, the possibilities are endless!
