Pilot error blamed for Air France crash
A report into the crash of Air France flight 447 has blamed pilot error and called for better training. France's aviation body the BEA said the plane, which crashed into the Atlantic midway from Rio to Paris on June 1, 2009, killing all 228 on board, plummeted into the ocean because the pilots failed to react effectively to a technical problem that resulted in loss of airspeed readings.
