Pride in Israel: Orthodox Jews vs LGBT community
Pride month has kicked off in Israel, with LGBT parades being held in several cities. But not everyone is happy to see them. Jerusalem's top rabbi has demanded the mayor's office take down a rainbow flag flown in the run-up to Pride. He argues the flag dishonours Israel's holiest city.
LGBT activists are continuing their campaign against homophobia and for gay rights. The marches are held under tight security - police protect those who take part.
