We are going to visit the famous railway bridge over the Rhine river in Cologne, Germany. Despite its 6 tracks, it is still considered an "eye of a needle" for the commuter train (S-Bahn) system of the city. But is the bridge really a problem? You will find out how Germans plan to increase the frequency of the S-Bahn train service by building additional platforms and tracks in the two busiest stations on both sides of the Rhine, yet avoiding to build another bridge section.
