A common technique in e-learning is to require learners to click all buttons in Articulate Storyline accordion interactions before they can move forward in the course. This happens for any number of reasons from client requests to compliance reasons. Wherever the reason, there are certain times or areas that you really want to make sure the learner views all of the content before they proceed.
With Articulate Storyline tabs interactions, the process is straightforward. You just add visited states for each tab or button and then add a trigger to make something happen when all tabs are visited. Classic Articulate Storyline building blocks: States. Layers. Triggers.
But what about accordion interactions? While they’re similar to tabs interactions, accordion buttons expand and collapse and move all around the slide and require buttons and triggers on every slide layer. How do you require learners to click all buttons before continuing in the course?
The good news is if you know how to do it with tabs, you can do it with Articulate Storyline accordion interactions. Let me show you how it works.
