I've recently imported a video clip (that has sound) into Final Cut Pro X (FCPX) - but that clip (in this case a screen recording) didn't play any sound when played at its originally imported location. Other clips do not exhibit this particular audio issue. All clips were mp4's and there was nothing funny with the files or codecs. The weird thing is the clip that did not have sound once imported into the timeline DID have sound when the quick player was used within the desktop. This has happened to me several times so I figured it has happened to others as well.
