Over the past few decades, currently available anticoagulants have proven to be effective at thrombosis prevention, however they are often underutilized, primarily due to safety concerns. Emerging evidence suggests that factor XI is a promising new target for the inhibition of pathological thrombosis and may become a future strategy for safer anticoagulation.
In this live social media event, interact with Drs Ruff and Gibson as they review the latest evidence and share their thoughts on the potential role of factor XI inhibition.
