Relay electronic DRL-30 is designed to control the power of the main beam headlights, which allows them to be used as daytime running lights. The relay is installed instead of the regular high-beam relay in cars LADA KALINA, LADA PRIORA and others in which similar relays are used.
The use of the main-beam headlamps switched on at 30 per cent of the daytime running lamps, as compared to the dipped beam and fog lamps, can significantly reduce the power consumption of the generator, and thus increase the life of the generator and reduce fuel consumption. Also smooth switching of lamps allows to protect them from premature burnout.
