How to use your computer keyboard like a MIDI keyboard in Studio One.
#StudioOne #PreSonus
In Studio One you can use your QWERTY keyboard as a MIDI controller to play or record your virtual instruments.
The easiest way to do this is simply hit the 'Caps Lock' key, and it will bring up the Qwerty Keyboard control. This window MUST be open to use your computer keyboard for MIDI.
If that doesn't work for you, just add the Qwerty Keyboard in, Studio One - Options - External Devices - Add, go to the 'PreSonus' folder, and add the Qwerty Keyboard.
Then press 'Caps Lock' to open the Qwerty Keyboard control.
You could also go to the Mix window, External, and double click the Qwerty Keyboard listing under 'External Devices'
Now you will be able to play and record your virtual instruments with your computer keyboard.
