Croatian Aleksandar "Sandy" Marton is a very popular singer in the 80s, especially in the "italo disco" genre.
Discovered by Claudio Cecchetto in 1983, he started under the pseudonym "M. Basic" with the debut single "Ok Run". The track will be used as jingle in the commercial of the video games console Philips Videopac.
The following year, with the name "Sandy Marton", blond tuft and electronic shoulder keyboard, the great success arrived thanks to the disco-dance track "People from Ibiza", the first one in a long series.
