the operation failed the messaging interface has returned an unknown error - Microsoft outlook
I recently tried to send an email from outlook and I got the error of "the operation failed the messaging interface has returned an unknown error". Luckily, I remembered what I have recently changed that could have caused this error. Basically, I unchecked the use of cached on my data profile. Even though, the email from which I was sending the email was Gmail and default data profile was Outlook.
