How to Shorten Schluter Niche -
I shortened this niche by applying KERDI-FIX to two 1/2-inch pieces of KERDI-BOARD. The seams and inside/outside corners have to be waterproofed. This is an easy way to shorten the niche to complete the mitered tile without any slivers
