In this video I walk you through the steps to add video to the LinkedIn feed from the desktop and mobile.

Over the last few months LinkedIn has rolled out the ability to upload video natively to the LinkedIn feed.

The process is simple and straightforward. Upload your video (10 minutes or less), and in the content and links and you're done. LinkedIn will process the video and notify you when the video is done completely uploaded.

In my testing the native video has a wider reach than sharing a YouTube video or a blog post.

Why would we want to upload videos to LinkedIn?
Increase your audience
Grow your business by obtaining leads
Repurpose your videos from YouTube

Helpful Hints:
LinkedIn is a different audience than YouTube. I suggest to take a look at what you're going to saying the text to provide context to business oriented people

You can't edit the video. There are no options for thumbnails. It grabs the first frame of the video as the thumbnail so you may want to edit the video before you upload it to LinkedIn.

Pay attention to the analytics that LinkedIn provides for the video. Who is looking at your videos, where are they located, and what companies do they work for.
