hello!
i took a couple weeks off editing to mess around with the new sims 4 expansion pack but i'm back to the grind haha. there should be three more episodes left now!
i love exploring new malls so whenever nobody wanted to hang out i usually went mall hopping on my own heheh 🤭 this is a compilation of all my favourite stores i visited in shanghai! most of them were in joy city mall (one of the biggest malls in shanghai!!)
this one is a little less heavily edited than the rest - i managed to finish editing from start to end in three days! the colour grading was a lot less intense just bc i couldn't really be bothered to fine tune it for every single shot, so i just slapped on a basic adjustment layer lol. i think it did the job! also i finally switched up my transitions to something other than the glare - i kind of like the lens switch and i think using the right sound helps to sell it! i wouldn't call it sound design just bc i'm still in my very amateur stages, but i am starting to appreciate cleaner sound editing more! so like layering sounds from different clips for smoother transitions, and standardising the volume on all the clips for a more cohesive (??) feel. on that note, capcut made the normalise loudness function a pro feature now?? boo. i had to adjust the loudness on every clip one by one :/
