The Quickest way to create a Cast Shadow in Photoshop
A drop shadow is decorative, whereas a cast shadow is meant to be more realistic.
A Cast Shadow can be created quickly using a Layer Styles Drop Shadow in Photoshop. Then we little known process of turning a non-destructive layer style in a normal layer by using "Create Layer".
Then we use perspective transform and a gradient overlay to create a realistic cast shadow.
