"Quiet Odessa" Soviet movie from 1967.
The Civil War had just ended. Alexey Tolmachev (Vadim Ganshin) comes to Odessa to go to university, but after a conversation with the head of the GubChK he becomes a security officer. Soon he manages to gain the trust of Colonel Rakhuba, an emissary of the Liberation Union created abroad. Rakhuba instructs Alexei to establish contact with the Odessa conspirators. We are talking about delivering weapons to them through smugglers. Carrying out this task, Alexey descends into the catacombs, where the main forces of the counter-revolutionaries are hiding, and then goes to Tiraspol to meet with the Ukrainian atamans. The security officers offer Alexey to gather the atamans in Odessa in order to put an end to all the bandits at once. For the successful completion of the operation, Tolmachev is rewarded with a weekly ration. Cast
