2025 Chevrolet Equinox RS FWD: Start Up, Walkaround, Test Drive and Review
👋 Here is the all new 2025 Chevrolet Equinox RS! Coming in at $37,000 the new fully redesigned 2025 Chevy Equinox is a nice sized crossover. I really like the new styling inside and out. Very bold and aggressive lines and it looks muscular. The interior had a nice black leather upholstery with red and blue stitching as well as red accents on the seats and dash. Super cool style and the RS ads the sporty touch. The new 2025 Equinox is powered by a 1.5L inline 4 cylinder turbo with 175 horsepower and 203 torque. The front wheel drive Equinox has a CVT transmission while the all wheel drive version gets an 8 speed automatic. The interior was well appointed and overall this is a roomy crossover. However when driving the new 2025 Chevrolet Equinox, I was pretty underwhelmed. Lots of torque steer in the steering wheel when getting up to speed at less then half throttle. And the suspension, while it's soft and comfortable, taking turns its super vague feeling and has a ton of body roll. It just seems to drive very unrefined and I just felt it was lacking a lot. There are plenty of $40k crossovers like a RAV4, CR-V, Tucson and Rogue that drive significantly better. I think the new 2025 Equinox looks the coolest and has a nice interior, but the driving feeling was not doing it for me. Also other cars have larger engines or hybrids at this price and feel a lot more powerful with better MPG. So the new 2025 Chevy Equinox, while it looks great, would be at the bottom of my list in this category unfortunately. I'd go for the Chevy Blazer instead which to be honest feels like the same vehicle but drives a lot nicer.
