2024 Nissan Frontier SV Hardbody POV Review | Retro Edition Worth Pro-4X Money?
👋 Check out the 2024 Nissan Frontier SV with the Hardbody Edition package. The Frontier is the last true midsized pickup truck to offer a V6 engine. This is a very robust power plant and with more and more trucks going to turbocharger, the Frontier is a great option. If you don't like the new Toyota Tacoma, then the Nissan Frontier could be the perfect truck for you. Under the hood this packs a 3.8L V6 with 310 HP and 281 TQ. It also has a 9 speed transmission and four wheel drive. The Hardbody edition in this video was finished in Glacier White and had an MSRP of $45,700. That's actually a bit more then a Pro 4X with cloth interior. The Frontier is similar in price to a Ford Ranger, however once again, you can only get the naturally aspirated V6 in the Nissan Frontier. This is a fine truck to drive with comfortable seats. Back seats leave a lot to be desired and are pretty cramped. Bed space is also a bit small compared to other trucks. The tech is a bit on the old side too. But seems like a lot of midsized truck buyers want reliability and simplicity for an affordable price. So honestly the 2024 Nissan Frontier packs a lot to offer for a large amount of buyers. This spec was interesting overall. The retro heritage look won't appeal to everyone and it did feel pretty basic. I'd probably spend similar money and go for a Pro 4X with the leather interior. Driving the Frontier is pretty smooth and it has plenty of power overall. I do like how the turbo engines pack more low end torque tho. But this was still nice to drive with everything needed. Steering feel is especially heavy compared to every other truck in this class. Even my old Lamborghini has a lighter feel. That's saying a lot since thats a heavy steering feel. But if you want a old school simple midsized truck, check out the 2024 Nissan Frontier with the Hardbody edition package.
