As someone with a Ph.D. in free radical and radion biology, Jaimee wasn't sure whether or not going back to school was the right way to make the transition into eLearning and instructional design. Having worked both as a DNA crime lab analyst and university professor, Jaimee knew that if she wanted to transition careers, she'd need to build the skills hiring managers were looking for in their candidates.
This led Jaimee to The eLearning Designer's Academy, where she could focus not just on learning the theories of instructional design and adult learning, but also on the technical skills used to put those theories into practice. And during Jaimee's time inside The eLearning Designer's Academy, she focused her efforts on designing a sample project, learning how to develop it in Articulate Storyline, and making sure her skills and confidence were interview-ready.
Today, Jaimee works as an instructional designer for a major airline based out of Las Vegas, Nevada. And her story is one that shows how a dedication to building tangible skills is the key to success.
