And the 2024 WIPO Global Awards go to…
Nine SMEs and startups from Argentina, China, Kenya, the Republic of Korea, Kuwait, Singapore, Switzerland, Thailand, and Türkiye are the winners of the WIPO Global Awards – which recognize exceptional SMEs that make smart use of intellectual property (IP) for business and social impact.
On July 12, 2024, WIPO Director General Daren Tang and Chair of the WIPO General Assembly, Ambassador Alfredo Suescum, Permanent Representative of Panama to the World Trade Organization (WTO), unveiled the nine winners at a ceremony held on the sidelines of the WIPO Assemblies in Geneva, Switzerland.
An eminent international jury with expertise in IP and business selected the nine winners of the third edition of the WIPO Global Awards from over 600 submissions spanning more than 100 countries.
