To start off, simply add a clip to your project. Double-click on the clip in the project panel to open it in the source panel.

Next, navigate to the desired starting point for your sub clip using the play head. Click on the "Mark In" button to set the start of your sub clip. Then, move the play head to the desired end point and click on the "Mark Out" button. It's that easy!

Now, head over to the "Clip" menu and select "Make Sub Clip". In the pop-up window, give your sub clip a name and make sure to check the box that says "Restrict Trims to Sub Clip Boundaries". Click "OK" and voila! Your sub clip is now added to your project. To use it, simply drag it into your timeline.

But wait, there's more! Another way to create sub clips is to drag and drop from the source panel to the project panel. This method allows you to create sub clips without any boundaries, meaning you can freely extend their length.

So go ahead and start creating sub clips in Premiere Pro today. It's a quick and efficient way to organize your footage and make editing a breeze.
