ROV SuBastian Samples More Hydrothermal Vents at Puy Des Folles | SOI Divestream 501
Welcome to ROV SuBastian Divestream #501 aboard R/V Falkor (too)! Join our science team led by our Principal Investigator, Dr. Dave Butterfield (University of Washington/NOAA), as they return to explore and sample the high-temperature hydrothermal vent communities at Puy Des Folles Seamount at the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. We are planning to complete chemical and biological sampling at several vent sites, and as always we are always hoping to look for more thanks to our updated AUV surveys. Enjoy!
