How to adjust the tone curve in Adobe Lightroom
Using the tone curves in Adobe LIghtroom can be intimidating, but it's actually pretty easy. Using the Tone Curves is the most powerful way to edit your photography. You may be wondering, what is the Tone Curve? The Tone Curve is essentially used to brighten up your image, make it darker, and add contrast. What's special about the Tone Curve is that it allows you to be more flexible with your images as to what you are directly editing. You can easily adjust the blacks, shadows, midtones, highlights or whites in your photograph.
Most people will tell you to create an S Curve. While an S Curve is great, it's not necessarily the best way to go about it. I am going to show you a lightroom editing hack that will yield better results. In this video, I also go over the RGB tone curves and how to properly use them to your advantage.
