Looking to manually add subtitles to your video in Davinci Resolve? We've got you covered! Follow these simple steps to seamlessly incorporate subtitles into your video project.
To get started, add an audio track to your timeline. Next, right-click on the empty space above your video tracks and select "add subtitle track". This will create a designated space for your subtitles.
Now, press the space button to play the audio and right-click to select "add subtitle". Place the subtitle where you desire and open the inspector panel by clicking on it. In the caption tab, type in the desired text. Make sure to customize the font family, size, and other properties in the track tab to suit your preferences.
Continue by adding new captions to match the audio throughout your video. Once you have added all the necessary captions, it's time to export the subtitles. Navigate to the deliver page and scroll down to the subtitle settings. Ensure that the "export subtitle" option is checked. Set the format to SRT and select the desired subtitle tracks.
