WIPO Global Innovation Index 2021: Message from China's Minister for Science and Technology
Message from Wang Zhigang, Minister for Science and Technology, China, on the occasion of the launch of WIPO’s Global Innovation Index 2021.
The 2021 edition of the Global Innovation Index (GII) – themed “Tracking Innovation through the COVID-19 Crisis" – was launched with a virtual event on September 20, 2021, which included a presentation of key findings of the GII 2021, two panel discussions, and ministerial statements from around the world.
The GII 2021 ranks the innovation performance of 132 countries and economies around the world.
