Thailand Joins WIPO's Copyright Treaty
WIPO Director General Daren Tang welcomes the accession of Thailand to the WIPO Copyright Treaty (WCT). Thailand becomes the 113th member of the WCT – a special agreement under the Berne Convention that deals with the protection of works and the rights of their authors in the digital environment.
Vuttikrai Leewiraphan, Director General of the Department of Intellectual Property of Thailand (DIP), deposited the instrument of accession on July 13, 2022.
