The third episode of WIPO’s Mission Imagination series features Cassidy Matwiyoff, a student, inventor and dog-owner from San Diego, California. When she noticed how sad her furry friend was every time she would leave home, Cassidy decided to make a device that could keep her pup company while she was out.
In conversation with Edward Harris, Senior Media Officer, WIPO News and Media Division, Cassidy discusses the inspiration behind her patent-pending invention, the "Bow-wow", and the entrepreneurial spirit that fueled her creativity, along with her hopes in further refining her product to be made available to pet owners in the U.S. and beyond.
